Hi, I've got a 96 DR 350 SE and I'm having a hard time finding
resources online. A friend of mine is a mechanic but I can't find a
good manual or instructions for tune ups, etc. My main problem is that
it's extremely hard to start when cold (not actual COLD, but after it's
been sitting for more than an hour.) Anyone have anything that might
help?
Thanks!

Another problem is that I have to replace the clutch cover gasket, so
anything showing me how to do that would be greatly appreciated!

There are loads of books available for DRs up to 1995, but starting in 96 they
have a whole different engine. 95 and earlier used a Rotax engine and also have
disk brakes on the rear. Starting in 96 they got a different engine and a drum
brake, a giant step backward.
Your hard starting is coming from your carburetor. Your float level may be too
high and the engine is flooding when it's hot, making it hard to restart when
it's had time to boil the gas left in the float bowl and trickle it into the
intake.
Or you may be going lean when the engine cools off. A lot of motorcycle carbs
don't have a choke per se, they have an enricher circuit. When you activate the
choke, it actually opens a separate jet and adds more fuel to the mixture. If
that jet is plugged, you're not getting any extra fuel, making it hard to start.
Check with a Suzuki dealer about a service manual and/or owner's manual. It may
be your only source.
The manual for the earlier models will have limited usefulness.
