I would like to replace the screen in this fuel injector:

BMW Part No. 1371 1342366
Bosch Part No. 0280 155788

The dealers say that there is no rebuild kit for this part.  I don't
believe them.  Any adivice would be appreciated.

What kind of BMW is this for? I have heard rumors that a certain Ford
injector is a plug-in replacement for the ones on a K75.

Now that's an interesting rumor!

The BMW dealer says the injector is used in the R12C.  My application
is not a bike:  http://www.alisport.com/eu/eng/silent2.htm

The factory recommends replacing the screen as a normal part of
maintenance.

THE CRY OF THE WILD GOOSE
Recorded by Tennessee Ernie Ford
Words  and Music by Terry Gilkyson

Tonight I heard the wild goose cry
Wingin'  north in the lonely sky
Tried to sleep, but it ain't no use
'Cause I am  the brother to the old wild goose.

CHORUS
My heart knows what the wild  goose knows
And I must go where the wild goose goes
Wild goose, brother  goose, which is best-
A wanderin' foot or a heart at  rest?

(SPOKEN`)
The cabin is warm and the snow is deep
And I got a  woman, who lies asleep
When she wakes at tomorrow's dawn
She'll find, poor  critter, that her man is gone.

CHORUS

My woman was kind and true  to me
Thinks she loves me, the more fool she!
She's gotta learn that it  ain't no use
To love the brother to the old wild  goose.

CHORUS

(SPOKEN)
Spring is comin' and the ice will  break
And I can't linger, for a woman's sake
She'll see a shadow pass  overhead
She'll find - a feather -'side my bed.

CHORUS

TAG:  Wild Goose!

Found it!

The Bosch people were helpful, BMW not.  The part is on its way from
Germany.

Thanks to all who helped.
