A buddy of mine brought over a pretty junky looking 1982 CM200T a couple
years ago. I cleaned the carb as best I could and pulled a couple tricks to
get it running. Then I told him everything it needed to run right. I said
if he got the parts together I would be glad to help him fix it up.
He chased down most of it, but the gas tank is rusted out in a couple
places. Worse than I want to trust a cream kit to plug up. I am trying to
chase down a gas tank for this thinkg that is in good shape. Any leads
would be appreciated. I already checked EBAY, and I noticed that Trader
On-line doesn't really list private party parts anymore, just links to
retailers.
Anyway, I am moving, and I told him to get the parts over so we could fix
this thing and get over to his house. He decided it was too much trouble
and gave me all his parts since he now has two other newer and bigger bikes.
I still need to chase down a fuel tnak for this thing. I have everything
else for it on hand.
Battery, tires, carb kit, plugs and filter are already to go on as soon as I
find a tank.
Worse comes to worse I can strip and resin coat the tank then put a cream
kit in it, but then the tank would be worth more than the whole rest of the
bike. LOL.

If nothing else pans out, give a call to SIX MILE CYCLE - 4901 Stump Road -
Maryville, TN 37803 Phone: 865-856-7278
They have acres of older bikes for parts and they ship UPS daily.
