Help, voltage regulator, 1978 kawasaki 250

 

Hi all
Hope someone out there can help me with this. I need a voltage regulator for
my 1978 kawasaki 250 KL. I'm finding this difficult to find. Are there any
others that may work on this bike? Any recommended wreckers out there?

reg/rect on eBay stores for about $200.  I think that's a bit steep.  Once
in a while one pops up on eBay.  I don't know how many models that part is
common to since it's a 6V reg.  Most likely a lot of the KE models from
that era.

I did buy a brake rotor from http://www.cycle-salvage.com  for my KZ650
that was as they described (slightly used and in good condition) for a
reasonable price.  You might ask them.
