When did Honda last offer Hot Rod Yellow on their Gold Wing? If it's been
only several years, I wonder if there are any still in dealer inventory? My
dealer assures me that Honda won't take custom orders even if it involves
paint still in inventory. I want that Big Bird.

That's the best color for it!
A few vehicles just need to be in that color and no other. This includes
the Honda Civic CRX second generation and a particular Toyota SUV. I
can't think of any others.

Aside from the fact that I like the color, it's more likely to be seen by
cagers than most other colors. I've been hit by motorists four times. I'd
rather give it up.

I seem to remember the term "Yellow Whale" (affectionately) applied to those
mid '90s 1500 Wings. Also, you might ask the folks at either GWRRA or MCN.

I own a 2002 Yellow Wing and the years they made yellow were:
2002 & 2005
