Greetings all,
I've heard great things about the VTX, and a friend of mine loves his (after
10K miles). The Vulcan adds fuel injection, but is a little heavier and
little longer wheelbase.
My main goal is to get a maneuverable and comfortable ride.
Any opinions on these two?
Thanks much.

Personal thoughts on the matter follow...
Vulcan has a MUCH larger support base in the form of www.vroc.org and there
are very few problems associated with the bike. It is a great bike and I
have not heard much negative about it. It is probably more comfortable than
the VTX1300.
The VTX1300 gives you some options. Get the retro and swap the fendrs with
someone who wants them for their classic. You get a larger gas tank for
"free" that way. The bike is as reliable as can be and is fun to ride.
Looks good too. It can eb a bit uncomfortable for some riders with the
super-wide front portion of the seat though so test-sit one if you can.
Personally, as a former Vulcan 750 owner, I'd probably... Chooce the VTX
but that is only because of teh way I ride and how I like my ride to feel
under me on my little tours.

I ride a VTX 1800 retro, im a big guy so I liked the feeling of the 1800, a
bit longer I also liked the 1300 and would have bought one but I just got
such a good deal on my 1800 I couldn't pass it up, it has run flawlessly
since i rode it home and have had so much fun with it should be illegal.
