Hi,

the Honda XL 125 is used by the "Riders for Health"
(www.riders.org) to enable African health workers to reach isolated
rural communities and provide vital health care. To keep the bikes
running, they need our help. I want to support the riders with my
Motorcycle-Travel-Page which is online since more than ten years:

www.kradventure.de

("krad" is the abbreviation for "Kraftrad", a german word for
Motorcycle; adventure needs no translation ;-) ) Texts are in german,
sorry, but you'll find a lot of photos from several journeys in europe
and northern africa.

My request to you is the following: If you like my travel-pictures and
if you think they are worth the price of, for example, one issue of a
Motorcycle-magazine, I would be very grateful if you would donate this
amount for the riders. For that purpose I have created a fundraisingpage:

Many thanks and kindest regards,
Achim

(Please apologize for the crosspost and my bad english)

<snip>

If I didn't think that the money would just go straight into some
thief's pockets, I might. But I don't. So I won't.

I think this is the advantage of the riders work over many other
charity-organisations: that the money doesn't disappear in some
inscrutable projects, but goes directly in the maintenance of the bikes.
At www.riders.org you can find detailed informations about the
appropriation of the raised money. Off course one can distrust
everything and everyone, but in this special case, I trust in the riders
work.

I have too much experience of African scams to trust anything there.
Sorry.
