I"ve got to buy tires for my bike, whose tires haven't been ridden on
since 1971.
They are marked in front, 3.25-18 and in back 3.50-18.
This doesn't seem anything like the tire sizes I found on one webpage.
Whether I buy online or at a store, I think I don't understand how the
sizes work anymore!
Also the tubes had funny numbers. When I have the size tire I need,
is the tube the same size?
Only the rim strip seemed clear, except they had wide and extra wide.
I have a '69 Honda CR450. Can I assume the rim strips will not be
wide or extra wide? Or I'll start checking out other bikes wheels if
I need to.
Thanks

Oh, and tiresunlimited.com had it organized so I had to choose a brand
first. I have not too much brand preference, or I would like to see
several brands together. Then they expected me to pick a Bridgestone
tire by its "name", when I don't know one tire from another.
Is there a webpage for tires and tubes that you guys like, that would
work differently from this one.

Got to www.shadetreepowersports.com or www.jcwhitney.com and you
will find your tires.

You might try here:
http://www.cruisercustomizing.com/
There are links to tire sizing charts on the site and also an
option to sort by brand and model.
They were running specials this spring. It's probably close to
fall special time.
