My early version CB200 (twin leading shoe front brake) needs a new front
wheel and I'm not having much luck finding a pattern spares supplier.
There are a few possible options, firstly the original wheel is mostly OK
except for a couple of bent spokes, a local repairer is willing to rebuild
the wheel but is having problems obtaining replacement spokes.
David Silver told me half a year ago that they could order a pattern wheel,
but it would be expensive and take a while as it had to be ordered from a
supplier in mainland Europe - when the rebuild ran into difficulty I phoned
DS to place the order only to find they now deny any knowledge of pattern
wheel replacements.
Any replacement wheel that passes the MOT test would do so any
recommendations of breakers yards in the UK might help, or preferably a UK
pattern spares supplier that might have a new one would be better.
