Have you seen what brake fluid does to paint? It's one of the most effective
paint strippers around. I'd call that corrosive.

The old stuff back when you used to have to choose between Lockheed &
Girling used to destroy paint quick enough, but since "universal" brake
fluid came onto the market its been much less of a problem.
