That's a very unforced law, they do it all the time, like there was
an emergency somewhere, some don't even signal.....I hate that, when they
cut me off.
I'll usually hit the hi beams and tailgate them awhile, maybe
adding a siren is good scare for them, but I'm still working on my Gorilla
theft alarm system, so the siren will wait....

Using a theft alarm system that sounds like a Cop Siren might be
good, just punch the panic button on the anti-theft alarm...

If you get 'cut off' it is your fault
don't follow so close.

So you think it's awrright when they cut into you even without
signaling...heh

I leave a car length in the city, and more as the speeds get higher,
if I was close, I wouldn't get cut off....it all pretty much depends also
depends on how close the you are being tailgated....

Ok, let's approach this from a different angle.

What the hell does it mean anyway: "Cut me off". Cut you off from what?
You can't go any faster, there is a car in front blocking your way, probably
cars on both sides too. So fricking what, a car moved into your lane? How
exactly is that a bad thing? You have no right over the space in front of
you.

Like another poster said, the ONLY way it is a problem is if you are SO
CLOSE to the car in front that you have to apply the brakes to avoid hitting
someone. If there was ample following space, cars that NEED to change lanes
could do so without causing a stir.

"Cut me off" is the badge of a tailgating whiner. PEOPLE NEED TO CHANGE
LANES. Learn to live with it. A few minutes from now it will be YOU that
needs to change lanes. Be damn sure you don't "cut somebody off".

If the other vehicle moving over puts you into dangerously close, then
you do have a right to that space.

There's a difference between ample space and so close you must hit your
brakes.

Not necessarily. I keep at least two seconds of space in front of me.
Cutting me off is that Porsche the other month who blasted by me on the
left, cut me off (less than a car length) and took the exit to my right.
He didn't NEED to take the exit right in front of me. Had he planned his
route, he could have gotten in behind me at a reasonable distance and
then taken the exit. He'd be three seconds later in his journey, but I'm
sure he'd survive the delay.
