    It is their obligation to repair any damages they do or they will be
reported to their sponsors...Yamaha. Honda, Ducati, BBB, etc........and they
can't afford to lose their accounts or lifeline.....

    Your insurance company would view it as vandalism, or some hit-run
platform.......most of these shops live "wholly" off insurance claims
completely, whereas a head gasket job is still $700.00+++

    They usually fix the problem to regular specs to save what face they
have left, in the eyes of growing motorcycle users, especially in the peak
Riding Seasons....

 Unless the manufacturers treat Canada differently,the ONLY thing they'll
tell you about the dealer is they are an independent operator and they
have no control over them.

 I would at least give them the opportunity to fix it before complaining
to the group.If I make a mistake repairing something and don''t know it
(it does happen to even the best mechanics,which I'm not)I would hope
the person would tell me and give me the chance to rectify it before
going off yelling what a shit I am.

 
I thought about going back and making a stink but its not worth the
trouble. All they have to do is deny braking it.So then I have to go
through the trouble of filling a claim with the bbb or consumers
protection agency. As for the insurance the price of the part is $115
and my insurance policy has a $250 deductible. For now Ill just be
content with warning other people about these fuck heads.

    Well you should let them know what clout you have, and if they are
just plain snotty,.... just ram your foot up their ass, if they don't
understand anything else.......

    Good input though not unusual with these dealers........
