I have 91 CB70 Honda 70 Nighthawk.
I want to replace the chain and sprocket The owner before me changed
the rear to a 36 tooth. Factory is 15 front and 38 rear. I want better
fuel mileage. I ride mostly interstate. I cant cry about my mileage
now but why not get better if I can. It also takes a 525 chain,
whatever the means.
Please someone offer suggestions and maybe a link where I can find the
sprocket and chain.
Thanks

Check out JC Whitney, Dennis Kirk, or just do a web search for
"motorcycle chain"

525 is the size of the chain. If the guy before you changed from a 38
to a 36 tooth rear sprocket, he pretty much put an overdrive on the
overdrive.

As long as you are easy on the throttle, it should help you get a
little better mileage than the original set up.
