Haslemere Motorcycles are running a Charity auction in aid of the Rob Vine
fund on the 1st of April this year. The fund helps to keep the Isle of Man
TT races and Manx Grand prix running by funding the Manx Air Ambulance
medical equipment. No Air Ambulance no TT!
Professional Auctioneer Albury Dawson will be wheelding the gavel on the
day, with lots of other things to see and do!
In accotiation with 96.4 The Eagle local Radio The breakfast DJ Will be
master of ceremonies
The Auction was the brainchild of local motorcycle racer Mark Parrett, who
himself is the 18 fastest man around the TT circuit! Haslemere Motorcycles
was the obvious choice as Haslemere is one of Marks main sponsors and Marty
Lunde the owner was an international roadracer himself.Almost the whole
staff at Haslemere have or are involved with the sport,and like most
motorcyclist , keen to help.
Up for Auction are 2 Suzuki experience days, one Track day at Mallory Park,
an off road day at the same venue, a ride in a Replica Ford GT40, From
Thruxton sports cars, 2 sets of leathers from Mark Parrett, that have been
around the TT circuit at Podium speeds. And arguably the jewel in the
auction is an AGV helmet signed by Valenteno Rossi himself , it will come
with full certification.( Thank you AGV ) Also a Shoei Helmet signed buy the
Factory Honda UK squad,is just a taster of what can be had .A special thank
you must go to 96.4 The Eagle for promoting the whole event . Haslemere are
also asking that any owners of interesting or unusual motorcycles would
make an appearance to make the day even more of a draw, it would be
fantastic!
