Got a 1980 Honda Goldwing GL1100 with trailer in May. The rear lights
on the trailer come on faintly and blink - very faintly - with the
turn signals on. All other lights seem fine, no fuses blown and the
light bulbs look good.
I'm out of my element in how to do further checking. I'm guessing I
have a bad wire or short, but don't know how to find out which
one(s). I can get a multimeter, but don't know how to use it.
Can someone point me to a resource on-line, or give me some advice on
what to do? I'd rather save my money for gas than take it to a
shop. :)
Thanks in advance,
Mike

Might be the ground wire. If the lights are dim, it might be grounding
through the hitch, which isn't really a great contact point.

Thanks for the quick reply. Two follow-ups >> what color is the ground
wire? And would it still be the ground if the other trailer lights are
fine?

It's usually white.
