I have a bike that is a Honda xl250 on/off road bike. I can't push the kick
starter down so I think it has been seized. I personally haven't ridden it
for at least 20 years and quite possibly it hasn't been ridden since the
mid-1990's and has been sitting in a barn ( with very little roof) since it
was given to in 2000. What does it take to unseize a motor?
Is there a place on-line that I can look up this VIN Number:XL250 2010021?
Also can I put a CRF 250 head on an older XL250? John

Pull the spark plug out and squirt some penetrating oil down the hole.
Let it sit for a day and add some more penetrating oil.
If the piston is freed up, change the oil before trying to start the
engine.
