What should the selling price be?

I have an 03 Gold Wing with 4,000 miles - ABS, heated grips, and the
extended unlimited mileage warranty.  Perfect in every way and never
dropped.  I plan to sell this bike soon, and I'm wondering what I should ask
as a selling price.  There doesn't seem to be a comprehensive on line site
(such as Kelly) for motorcycles.

Input would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Willy

Beyond lack of use, why get rid of a perfectly good GW?

Don't most GW owners eventually just die an owner. <g>

During your ownership, I assume you've become familiar
with:
http://www.gl1800.org/
http://www.gwrra.org/
http://www.gwta.org/
http://www.hondagoldwings.com/
in addition to he countless other similar sites available.

I would suggest some visits to the classified forums of
these sites, and review of the similar offerings. Perhaps,
even advertise the bike on one/all of these forums.

You could also have a look at:
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=%2B%22motorcycle+values%22
for the myriad of estimates of the bike's worth in your
locale.

GoldWings are not like Harleys, they don't come up for
sale as frequently, so pegging the values is a little more
difficult.

You also might visit:
www.craigslist.org
for your locale listings, or your sale advertisement. And
of course, there's always Ebay.

Here's a guy like you on a '05 with 9.2K miles. He says:
"Purchased from DFW Honda in July 2005 and garage kept since that time"
http://dallas.craigslist.org/mcy/277395872.html

I guess he didn't mean that the way it reads, but it makes
me wonder how he got the miles just setting in the garage.

Motorcycle Consumer News magazine periodically gives current prices for all
motorcycles sold in the U.S. for about the past 10 years or so.

No, you're wrong. Go to www.kbb.com and click on motorcycles.
