hi guys, just need a little help here with me carbs. my carbs for my
gsx400 twin have been rebuilt again and again but still aren't
functioning. the most fustrating thing is i know whats wrong (kind of)
but can't understand why it happens. basically air is being drawn
through the mixing chamber but not into the piston diaphram on either
carb, so the're not lifting. if i manually place a few drops of fuel
in the back of the carbs and turn the engine over it will rev fine for
a second untill the fuel is burnt. also the right hand side seems to
have more fuel pulled through but that side has the extra balance pipe
hole behind inlet mount. diaphrams are good, springs are good, pistons
slide nice and easy, changed main jets, cleaned all other jets/
passages well, checked manifolds, blew into diaphram air hole in back
and the pistons slide up pretty easy and not any leakages of fuel or
air that i can notice.
anyone have any ideas?
PLEASE i need some advice been at this for weeks......
