I am trying to get rid of everything I dont need on a cb360. one of
those is the battery. I know there are ways to wire it up so that I
dont need it. I have a kickstart, and so how do I wire everything so
that It works without the battery?

Pretty sure you need a magneto instead of an alternator to create the
spark... That's what the old Kawasaki's had
Just my 2 cents

You -do- need magnetos, unless you want to jump-start it from a
battery each time (and even then I'm not sure a generator or
alternator would work!)
I wonder if someone doesn't make generic magnetos for motorcycles that
run off the primary chain or something.
If you don't need any electrical equipment--lights, starter, etc.--you
could probably get away with a much smaller battery, maybe half the
size.

From the other two posts, and from your specifications, I guess what
your after is similar to a Paddy's Motorbike, or Motor driven Angle Grinder.
Here the only starting method is a pull start, and all electrics are
then run from the running motor.
this is very possible IF you can get a large enough generator to supply
the required power, but this system is very unreliable these engines are
a pig to start when worn, and I suggest you have a battery of a large
enough size to at least help run the High voltage side to help starting.
Best of luck with the project, and let us all know how it works out.
