My Honda is coming up on its sch maintaince..dealer said about80 to100 to
change oil,,and safety check,,that seemed high to me,,or is this  normal?
and advice great appreciated Thanks  Ron

It's cheap compared to some stealers, but it'd be a lot cheaper if you did
it yourself and it's not like his is hard work or a job that needs any real
skill. Just a pair of eyes, an oil filter and enough oil to re-fill the
motor.

        I do my own maintenance since I have access to a shop.  I wonder
if anyone uses these quick change oil places like Jiffy Lube?

I wouldn't because I like to remove any crap caught in the drain plug screen
and by the drain plug magnet. "Quickie" changes use a vacuum to drag the oil
back out of the motor, usually through the dipstick tube, but not many bikes
have a dipstick, let alone a tube.

That's a number similar to what I pay my Honda dealer to change my Wing's
oil.
