Hi all,, I know I posted before about aftermarket seats.and as always I get
alot of great info. So I am thinking of upgrading to a mustang seat for the
Honda. Can anyone tell me honestly,,Are they worth the money? The seat I
am considering cost 669. I plan on keeping the bike about 3more years.and I
really want to do longer rides with it.after about 60miles,,I am
sore.Dealer has a good opinion of them,,,but he may be basis Thanks
again,,Be safe Ron

YES! A Mustang seat will make a HECK of a difference, IMO anyway. When
my husband 1st got his Sabre, we made it as far as the end of the
driveway before I told him he had 2 choices, either a new seat, or a
bike for me. We got the seat, and it was like a couch...........;-)
I now have my own bike, and love it, but instead of a Mustang seat, I
had mind redone locally, to fit my slim/short self!! lol
They say Corbin seats are good too, but I've never even sat on one, so
couldnt tell you a thing about them.....
Good luck,
Con

I have a Corbin seat. I bought my bike used with a Corbin and the guy
threw in the original seat too. The Corbin really makes a big
difference! I can ride all day on it. The original seat I can do
maybe 90 min.
So I'm a big believer in aftermarket seats. Corbin is the low end of
the market. But $669! That's a lotta money for a motorcycle seat!
I think before I spent that much I'd want to find one I could sit on
for a while.
Funny thing, the Corbin seat seems very hard when you first sit on it.
The stock seat seems cushier.

Ask around to see if any local upholstery shop does sickle seats. There's
one here in Phoenix everyone recommends. They'll reshape and/or change foam
density for way less than custom sickle seats, even replacing plastic with
leather if you like.

Had a Mustang, bought a Corbin, super happy camper with the Corbin. Gave
the Mustang away.
Not saying the Mustang was bad, just that the Corbin was 100% more
comfortable than the Mustang.
