Any opinions on riding the Suzuki S83??? I'm in Colorado, and I'd
like something that can pull 2 people in the mountains, while having
the maintenance characteristic of a shaft drive japanese bike.
many thanks

If 1400cc won't haul your butt around the mountains at a liesurely pace, go
for something with 1600cc or 1800cc...

I'm sorry. Things are way too busy here discussing the doomed state of
the planetary climate to talk about motorcycles on this newsgroup.

I've given us all up as doomed, so I guess I can talk to the man:
Can you comment a little further? I mean, I can ride double in the
mountains on a 250. I'd just be fanning the shifter more than a guy on a
bigger bike. Some mountain switchbacks make ALL bikes shift down into first
gear.

Ergos sound uncomfortable for long distances.
