Well it took awhile, but the WGlide is back together.
Details:
CycleRama 95inch pistons, HD tubs
CycleRama lifters, gear drive cams (.555)
CycleRama worked HD heads & Intake man.
HD SE cam plate, and High Flow Oil pump
Started it up, and there was a MAJOR pinging. I let it
run for about 10 secs to see if the oil pump hadn't done
its thing yet. Shut it down.. and looked it over.
Started it back up, and the MAJOR banging was a minor
ticking, but she's running ruff as hell.
Wondering what wisdom you guys might have with that.
Its too late to tear it down now, but I'll have too next weekend.
I cant isolate the tick, but I think its mostly in the front. I clearance
the rocker boxes, and I checked the cam area and all was OK.
The pistons have deep pockets, so I don't think the values are hitting.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
