Howdy,
I brought lots of ice cold Oly. Help yourself.
I have an '89 Softail with 120,000 miles. The turn signals have
started doing the tropical tuna.
Anyone know where the turn signal flasher unit is located and the
right way to deal with the rivet for it?
Thanks,
Seamus

Headlight nacelle? I think that's where my 90 FXRS hid it.

Hi Greasy!
Hope you are doing okay and hope I'll bump into you at some event
soon. The Pizza Inns are becoming few and far between around
here :-).
As it turns out I had the headlamp apart already because the other of
my two maladies this winter was the low beam went out. The wire had
broke loose inside the headlamp assembly. I think the turn signal
flasher is probably under the tanks but hoped to find out for sure
before pulling them.
Ride safe,
Seamus

If you don't get my picture of the instructions let me know,
softail99fb@mahaska.org if you reply to this, the yahoo addy, remove
one 9. Make sure you put service manual-turn signal in the subject other
wise I'm may black list you by mistake in mail washer.
I got my factory manual from this web site. Cost around the same as the
dealer but I didn't have to go after it. I keep one in the house and one
in the shed with my bike. One for greasy work one for things like this.
