Got a 1992 FLSTC.  When I turn over the motor, oil gushes out of my crank
case vent.  I have a small breather vent there.  It is the vent on the motor
just above the oil pump.

Help please!

How long has the bike been sitting ? It's called oil sumping , look it up
in your service manual .
You *do* have the service manual ?
Then check out www.rmhfaq.com , and  give us a proper intro - we don't know
you ...

Thanks for the advice.  I did check the manual, but did not find anything
under sumping; however, that was the problem.  I have it running now and no
oil leaks.

Thanks a bunch,

Oh, will read the rmhfaq.com for intro.
