Shirley a round for the house please.  There now, wouldn't that have been
better if you'd been drinking it from your very own limited edition r.m.h.
VB&G flask?  Only two days left to secure your place in history by winning
this auction.  I know it's Christmas time, & dollars are tight, but this is
going at a ridiculously low price right now.  Remember, there were only five
of these made, and you can win this one.  I doubt you'll ever see another of
these flasks for sale, so get your bid in while you can.

And while you're at it, take a look at Tim's lighter too (only four in
existence), also going at a very low price.  Imagine sipping whiskey from
your flask, while using the lighter to fire up your favorite smoking
material.  You'll be the envy of all your friends.  Hurry up & bid, these
auctions are closing soon.

Thanks for the plug, Larry.   I won the flask, and put the check in
the mail to Bob today.

Listen, to up the ante on the lighter:   I won the bidding on this
lighter the first time around with a bid of $300.00 back in 2005.   So
I set the reserve on this bit of RMH history at $300 for this auction.

I know things are tight, and I know that spending money is tough, yet
with my own 2008 being a steaming personal and financial train wreck
which we won't get into, I still would like to see Eddie benefit from
this auction.

So here's my offer:   The lighter is only bid up to $101 now.   IF the
lighter meets the reserve of $300, I will write a check to MATCH the
final sales price of the lighter, dollar for dollar, to the Eddie
Kieger III Charitable Trust, up to a maximum of $1,000.00.  If the
lighter goes for $300, the trust will get $600.  If it goes for $400,
the trust will get $800.  And so on, up to a bid of $1,000.   So bid,
folks, bid.  Your dollars for Eddie just got doubled!

And I will STILL overnight the lighter at my expense to the lucky
winner on December 23 so that they will have it in time for Christmas.

P.S.  I am nursing the mother of all head colds.  With chilled shots
of Patron Silver chased by icy cold Corona Light.   Plastic's on the
table, name your poison; hope it works as well for you as my choice is
working for me!

All RIGHT!   THis group ROCKS!    George Pollard's bid has met the
reserve and ensured that the EKIII fund will receive a minimum of $600
for this fine, beautiful, RMH lighter.

Thanks, George!

Anyone else want to up the ante?

Merry Christmas, one and all!

Tim

George, congratulations on winning the auction.  Please e-mail me your
address and I will overnight the lighter to you!

My matching check will be in the mail to the treasurer before the end
of the year!

Tim
