Shirley a round for everyone. I hear Kickstart is still buyin'. What a
nice guy...
I've started noticing a strange brake problem on the 2010 Ultra. Many
have mentioned that the first squeeze on the front brake and the lever
goes down farther than if you pump it once. That's not a problem since
there is so much effective lever travel.
My rear brake is doing the same thing. The problem though is the rear
brake lever has a much shorter travel distance before it bottoms out.
I noticed today that I had to really stand on it or pump it once to
hold the bike nose up on a steep hill at a stop. I checked the fluid
level and even bled the rear brake to make sure there were no bubbles
and there weren't any.
Is anyone else seeing this? I think I'll pester the dealer about it.

Yes... 1st thing I noticed about the ABS (back in '08)...
but not to the extent yours (and others) have had.
My front brake just feels a little 'squishy', but not enough for me to
do anything about it.
My rear doesn't do it.
<Neither does my rear brake... for those who were about to jump on this>
I think it was discussed a while back and (Phil B?) had a good fix with
an overnight bleeding using tie-wraps?

Thanks. I just found that post. I'll see if it works on the rear brake.
