We have one of those where I work, sans the scanner. We use it to
"print" parts for prototypes, then put 'em together to see if they are
going to perform as designed. Cuts way down on design to completed
part time. Instead of programming a CNC machine, tooling it up and
machining the parts, we just "print" them. It's very cool.

They do some neat shit there! That's a bit more advanced then ours. The
one we have is rather small and uses the resin. It's still hard for me
to wrap my mind around how it all works.
