Got a step closer to ready for the Snow Run today . Got 18 pounds of pork
shoulder in the freezer to smoke for dinner on saturday . And all the
ingredients for a batch of SnagRub in the cupboard .
Anybody that ain't there is gonna miss some of the best Memphis Style BBQ
ever wrought west of The Big Muddy .
Me ? Conceited ? Hell yeah !

I mentioned running down to my wife, then she politely reminded me of some
other commitments. Maybe next year!

Doncha hate it when they do that ? And I'm guessin' it wasn't all that
polite . I've met your wife ! Tell her I said hi , and no fair makin' a man
actually live up to a commitment ! Don't she know we only say OK to get 'em
to quit yammerin' ?

When you do decide to make the Snow Run, you know where you can stop for
a good night's sleep on the way there.
We'll drink a beer or 12 for you while we're there this weekend.

Don't let me lose my wallet, cuz without it the cops won't know who to
call when they find me drunk in a tree in an adjacent county somewhere.
(I ain't been "in a tree" drunk in decades.)
