Attention Beardies: Advice on Sun Protection

 

I've got a tab open, shout up your orders I'm buying.

Here's the thing, I am now the possessor of face fungus, not just a few days
growth but a fairly bushy beard.  Myself and Mrs Aitch will be scooting off
for a few weeks in sunny Italy in a weeks time.  Last year when we were
there I was clean shaven and applying sun cream was simple, just slap it on
and rub it in.  What the hell do the bearded gentlemen of the vb&g do to
give their faces some protection against the sun when spending the day
riding in 100 degree heat?

I think you'll be fine just treating the exposed areas.

There's a new invention.  Chap Stick.  Some of it comes with
sun-screen built in and it doesn't taste bad at all... minty fresh
even.
