I'm buyin. The cooler is full of SNPA and PBR. If yer nice, Shirley
will find something else, but ya gotta be nice to her.
Don't piss on the pool table either. Larry quit cleanin' em.
After exhaustive tests and hundreds of dollars spent, I have zeroed in
on the best riding boot ever. OK, I THINK this is the BEST riding
boot ever. Comfortable, waterproof, warm, fast on and off, affordable.
The 5.11 ATAC Sleet 8"

Arguments welcome.
I'll have a PBR. Make it two. Thanks.

I wear something almost identical by Magnum. Damn
comfortable, way more so than the Frank Thomas
squid boots I have.

I need to find a place to buy stuff like that local. Can't see buying
shoes/boots on-line, too much variation in sizes.
Used to wear boots like that when I was in the military, called them jungle
boots back then. The uppers were green. A wonder what a Marine will trade for a
bottle of cheap wine after a few weeks at sea......<sfsf>

Find the uniform store the local cops use. That's the place to find
them locally.

Yup. I swapped out my "boondockers" for Jungle boots when I was in
the Coast Guard. These are just an updated version.

Great advice. That is how I found the black leather walking "service"
shoe I wear. They have air cushion soles and my dainty feets love
them. Lots of the new military/police boots I have tried to get on my
feet are sewn too far up the tongue and I can't get my high instep
into them. I guess it's a result of companies trying to make them
water-proof to a higher level. Have you had any trouble keeping them
tight when using the zipper?
