Hi gang,
Recently here in the Celveland, Ohio area there has been a rash of
bike thefts. My friend went on a ride last Sunday night parked his
bike at a resturant/bar called Shooters by 15 other bikes. He went
inside for 35 minutes and when he came back, his bike on the one end
and another bike from the opposite end of the line were gone. Police
told him that there seems to be some professional ring operating and
they suspect that the bikes are being shipped over seas. They even
ripped off the Chief of Police's bike outside of Kohls Department
Store in a neighboring city from where I live.
When I purchased my bike from Harely Davidson, I had them add their
anti-theft SMART Security System which requires a FOB to be within a
few feet of the bike in order for it to start. I am wondering if this
is enough in your opinions, because I was also now considering adding
LoJack to the bike.
Any opinions or experience with LoJack for a Motorcycle?

Hi there. New to this ng? Here's the FAQ: http://www.bamph.com/rmh/
Do you feel a professional bike theft ring would have a problem with LoJack?
The best thing would be good insurance, and a bunch of LoJack stickers so
the thief would skip yours and take someone else's...maybe.
