It's Sunday morning which can only mean I'm pouring my famous Bruce's
Bloody's, with or without your favorite vodka, plenty of horseradish,
tabasco, Worcestershire, S&P and secret ingredient.
Changing the brake lever on my kid's TTR110 dirt bike and I can't get the
cable and thingy out of the old lever. It rotates & moves freely but won't
pop out. There's no hole on the backside to push the thingy through. I've
tried every which angle with no luck. Short of changing out the cable, any
suggestions?
Thanks.

How about bash the fuck out of it with a big hammer?
Probably not a good idea.
I wonder if there is a rotational position to line up a keeper that
will allow it to come out?

It's on my list of possibilities along with changing out the whole cable.
The hammer comes before the cable.

We rarely have those anyway.

I think all angles/positions have been tried. I've got a couple more tools
to poke in there before I break out the mallet. Dremel is also on the list,
see if I can expand the hole without hitting the cable or thingy.

Nope. Spicier w/flavor.
