Hey Bob, my neighbor (Art...the big guy with the beard whom you met when
you were here on the way to Roger's) remembered what you said about the
new kickstand for the 2009 Electra Glides that keeps 'em from leaning
over so far. He went to the local dealer to get one for his new Classic,
but they didn't know anything about it. They're good folks there. I'm
sure they weren't giving him the run-around. Probably just unaware of
the kickstand problem for some reason. Do you have some info or a part
number or sumpin' that he could take in to them?
He says he's tired of always looking for a slanted parking lot in which
to park his bike. <grin>
He said to say "Thanks" for you help.

Andy, it's the kickstand mounting bracket that needs to be replaced.
I thought I had a copy of the bulletin that the dealer received but all
I can find is what I think is the bulletin number: #M-1243. HTH

Yepper. TL sent the PDF to me. I'll give it to my buddy. He doesn't have
a computer so I gotta do all his research for him.

I'm not Bob nor do I play one on TV... check your e-mail. For some reasons
many dealers must think the stuff the MoCo sends 'em are junk mail. They
plead ignorance... and make it totally believeable!
