It was short , but it was sweet . Only about 12 miles total , a blast down
the freeway followed by a slower ride home on surface streets .
And my fingers were toasty warm the whole way . My loving wife popped for
the Harley 'lectric gloves . She disagrees with me ridin' this time of year
, but understands my need to ... and is a little more comfy with me ridin'
to work since it's mostly freeway now .
A toast on this day to wives who understand .

As uncharacteristically warm and dry as it is here
in the greater Seattle area, I'd have ridden today
too *without* the electrics. Murphy's Law in full
effect; tear off the top end and the weather gets
decent. I'll enjoy your ride vicariously and
thanks for the Red Breast Irish.
