Clutch pulls too hard

Hello all. Just got my bike back from the dealership where I was
getting a new tire put on. While it was there I had them check my
clutch cable, which has been pulling pretty hard since last year
sometime (I bought my Road King new in spring of '04). They said they
lubed and adjusted the cable and clutch, but that it's still pretty
stiff due to the braided cable.

Anyone else experience this problem? I have a mild form of arthritis
(bummer - I'm in my 30s...) which makes this a bigger deal than it
should be. The mechanic suggested the easy-pull kit might help. Any
thoughts on that?

Thanks much in advance. Cheers!

I smell bullshit.  Braided cables don't pull any harder than stock if
they're the correct size & installed correctly.  Sounds like they're tryin' to
sell you a kit.  Pull the cable & lube it yourself, it needs to be done fairly
regularly anyway.  Use something like Dri-Slide/Bike Aid, dry lubricant
suspended in an evaporative fluid.  If that doesn't help, *then* consider an
easy-pull kit.

I can ditto that.  I just bought an 04, which came with the braided
cables and it pulls much easier than my 93, without said accessory.
