Just pulled in...beers on my tab...
The Bike strained a-bite starting this morning but did start, on my way
into work I kept the aux lights off and kept checking, signals, and the
horn, I noticed the horn was not as loud as it normally was, when I got
into work, I tried to start the bike up again, I got about 2 turns and
it died.
I got someone with some cables and gave my bike a jump, it started no
problem, and I let it run for about 10 mins.  and shut it down, then
attempted to start it again, no such luck. Being stuck at work and not
having a meter, ya think its just a bad battery? Its about 2 years old,
and was on the bike during my stator issues (stator was replaced some
time last year). I'm hoping I can just replace the battery. any help
would be greatly appreciated, thanks

It won't solve your problem, but I have a thing about
getting stranded. I carry a gell cell in my bag for a jump
if I need one.
It saved me a few times.
They are small.
Of course I am using only a generator on a '51.

yea, with me, I'll have to carry a 1 gal gas can also, I tend to
streach my gas a bit now.
I've got someone who will give me a jump start when I'm ready, I'm just
not sure if its a bad battery or something else. I figured if the
battery was low on charge, the 50+ mile ride into work would charged it
enouph. I'm hoping its just a battery.

Yep, I carry some also. Someday I'll get some brains and find
out how to look in the tanks to see if anything is in it.
Will I need allot college for that ?
I carry a line too. Great to give a tow or get a tow.
