While I still have some money need some advice grab a drink and ponder my
situation....
ok so they totalled out my bike. 2008 street glide anniversary colors,
12,300+ miles on it. I a bunch of extra stuff on it ( you know, to make it
more collectible....) Got a call from the insurance lady and she was all
excited to tell me that she was going to get me more money than I owed but
it is $3,000 short of what it will cost to replace it with an 2009 street
glide with the same upgrades, I have not check on getting a 2008, The only
color I can tolorate is the sun glo red, not excited about the other colors
at all. So is this normal... I have a 500 deductible. So they don't want
to repair it, so they give me a check that is not enough to raplace the
bike. Then they also pay off my loan give me the balance. So I have to get
a new loan (yeah right).
I am talking to my banker, about this because it was a line of credit so I
should be able to just switch the vin number( at least that is what my
paperwork says I can do if I replace the bike do to a lose)
anyway... anybody else have this happen any good ideas on how to approach
this...

Of course you don't. You've been in a cigar bar with RE in New Orleans all
night.
