Drinks on me.

Just purchased another Dunlop Elite 3 MU90HB-16 for the 2007 Ultra
Classic. www.denniskirk.com, $127.99 delivered.

Looked at some other sites that I had ordered from before, Dennis Kirk
had them beat. Threw in a few more oil filters to take advantage of the
free shipping.

BTW, that's a rear tire. Just checked the records on when I last changed
my front tire, discovered it currently has 35,708 miles on it! I have
another of those in the garage but this one is still holding up.

I just ordered a set from Jake Wilson, Elite 3 front and rear, $240
bucks delivered.

I have 14.6k on the front, 10k on the rear, on the current Elite 3s and
they are used up.  A slow leak on the the front tire that I can't find
that lowers the pressure to 30 psi when I'm not paying attention
probably has cost me some miles on it, and the rear probably would go
another 1k or so if I needed to, but I'm on the wear bars on both so
it's time for fresh rubber.

This tire was put on the stock rim at 22590 miles on 8/7/2008.

At 37003 miles on 8/22/2009 I took the stock wheels off and put Street
Glide wheels on with new rubber for the PBR run to the east coast. At
that time they had 14,413 miles on them.

On 4/30/2010, at 52019 miles I put the stock wheels back on with the
same rubber they had on them at 37003. One month earlier I had ordered
new front/rear tires. The new front tire is still sitting in my garage.

On 5/30/2010, at 54034 I put the rear Street Glide wheel on with new
rubber, left the stock wheel on the front. At that time the front had
16418 miles.

On 9/15/2011, at 72393 miles I swapped rear wheels again, put the stock
rear wheel with the tire that had 16418 miles on it. The Street Glide
rear wheel had 18359 miles. The stock front wheel was still on the bike
since I put it on at 52019. It had 14413 miles on it then, add 20374 to
that.

If you look at the pictures from Baja in Feb of this year you'll see
that my bike has the stock wheel on it. Also, 6/10/2010 on my way to New
Mexico I have a photo that shows the stock wheel on the bike.

I just checked the date code on the tire, 0408. That doesn't prove
anything but it does show that the tire itself is at least that old.

Can I prove that I didn't swap the wheel off and run the Street Glide
wheel at some other point than listed here? No, but I keep track of what
I do on the bike.

See you tomorrow, you can look at the tire then.
