Case o'beer in the frig in the corner.  Help yourself and pop one for
me.

Thanks for all the good feedback on narrowing down the "won't start"
problem.  Although it still won't start, there is some progress.

Still no current to ignition coil tested with extra spark plug held
against cylinder heads.

I did find reference in rmf post archives to data link and jumpered 1
and 2 pins for a readout.  I constantly get 6 slow, 4 fast, a short
pause, then 4 more fast blinks.  So I think I'm working with a "44"
error code.

I did order the Diag Electrical Manual for my 2002 FXDL. The last USPS
status was it had left a processing center 90 miles from my home on
September 5.  But it still has not shown up. I have looked on the
Internet and the only information I've found says the problem has to
do with the "tachometer high", but there's not enough detail to
explain how this might keep the egnine from starting (although the
starter motor works and is turning over the engine).

So I'm asking a favor:  anyone with the Diag manual could post here or
off line the code definition for the "44" I'm getting from the 2002
Dyna FXDL and what's the manual says has to be done/corrected.

TIA,

Manjo 2002 Low Rider

p.s.  the wife and I had ridden the Low Rider and her Street Bob to
Alaska from MA and back this spring with no problems.
