Sadly, I have come to accept that my riding days are over, for various
reasons. Up for sale is my '97 Heritage and my wifes '06 XL Low. I don't
want to burn a lot of bandwidth with details so I'll hold them for serious
inquiries.
It's been very difficult to confront letting the Heritage go. It represents
an awful lot of good memories, including you all here. But, I can't take
looking at it sitting in the garage not being ridden. She belongs out on the
highway kicking up dust, not gathering it.
I haven't decided on a price yet and haven't taken any action to sell it
outside this list yet. I have a shitload of stuff too. Parts, accessories,
clothing, etc. If you are looking for something in particular ping me. I'll
get a list of the stuff together and post it. Any parts or accessories I
have accumulated over the years are for the Heritage.
Be safe out there.

Why would your riding days be over? Are you disabled? Dying? I'm 57
and just getting started. Get Real.

Wife asked me why I bought a brand-new Ultra when my Low Rider was
barely broken in at 3-year-old and 22,000 miles. Told her I've wanted
one for a very long time, and I'm not gettin' any younger. I turn 59
in July, and hope to have at least ten more years riding.
Sorry to hear you're hangin' up the spurs, but glad to hear you'll
still be hangin' around.
Shirley, a round for Nasty on my tab <clink>.

I have a friend with said malady. I just forwarded your note to her
and told her to call me when she wanted help picking out her new
motorcycle.

Let me know if she'd like to talk to the lady I know by email,I'm sure
she'd be happy to discuss it with her.
