wrecked their back and has broken fork leg, wonder if it happened before the
wreck or was caused by the wreck,
new rider with 95 miles?
I know many riders on the 650 with tons of miles on them, not problems
I know many riders with hds as well, with plenty of accidents one still can;t
find his leg from the wobble,
and yet, I'm glad i do not own a new 650 gs, or a wobble machine hd, but even
if hd has solved the wobble, sadly the suspension on the hd is not good enough
for my screwed up back even with a cop seat on the bike... cause I really do
like buying american

Pardon me for butting in (have a drink on me), but have you considered a
back rest? Your back may be in worse shape than mine, but I definitely have
a bad back. However, with a back rest on the seat of my '99 FLHTCI I can,
literally, ride all day without a backache. Of course back rests don't
address suspension issues, but could it be that it is support your back
craves?
As for preferring to buy American, I do too. Having said that (and I hope
my street address can't be tracked via this post), isn't it still true that
a Honda Gold Wing has more American content than a Harley? (Profits stay in
the US with Harley, though.)

According to the latest Stock Holders Report less than 21% of the
content of a H-D is "off shore sourced".
Goldwings are manufactured in Japan and assembled in Ohio.

So what does that equate in man hours? I'm speaking out of ignorance here,
because I don't really know. Also, is there a sticker on a new motorcycle
that includes its American made percentage like cars used to have (maybe
still have- it's been a long time since I bought one)?
