Anyone know if the new HD LED front turn signals will work on the rear
of the bike? I would prefer amber rear signals, as the tour pak
already has brake and tail lights.
It looks like the rear signals can be wired as signals only, but
Harley does not show the amber lenses as a replacement part.

I don't think so. Front's are dual element (1157) and the rear are
single (1156). I have LEDs on my 2010 Ultra. I switched back to read
in the rear (after having tried amber). All red seemed more visible to
me than amber. Red LEDs are much brighter than amber LEDs.
A fella could die of thirst around here...

Went with no turn signals on Pegkiller when
I turned him into a chopper. Using hand signals
for turns or lane changes (and I always signal).
Cagers seem to notice this better than the
flashing lights. Must be the novelty of it.
