Shirley, cards on the bar for elixir conversion purposes.

'05 RK, fresh syn3 fluids, new screamin' eagle splitfire plugs, new K&N
filter. Put some slip-on's on too (V&H ovals):  She sounds and runs
great...but I'm stumped on the mileage drop. I've run two tanks of 91/no
ethanol through her after the winter storage and I'm only pulling 32MPG
running 99% hwy at speeds from 65 to 80. Any ideas on why she's gettin' such
bad mileage? Hell, I didn't gain any weight this winter!

And do you live in an area that changes the fuel composition with the
seasons?
If so, are they still running the winter blend?

Not sure bout that. I know they run winter blend in the diesel here in OK,
but not sure about the unleaded.

Don't know that DM. I'm mechanically challenged but they 'supposedly dyno'd
it at the Harley dealer after the slip-on's and it read fine, no changes
needed. I just put the filter on prior to running.

(PS, sorry bout that direct reply earlier.)
