Okay .. set 'em up. Plastic's on the bar. Need some advice here ...
I'm finding .. especially out in the rural areas and smaller highways ..
that
premium fuel can be hard to find. Many stations don't carry it. Has anyone
had any luck with an octane booster so you can use regular? If so
what one are you using?
Thanks.

The occasional tank of regular shouldn't hurt.
I even used it in my high compression 95" motor.
There is some kind of drop in metal thing you can get. It just sits in
your tank.
On that note, even if they did sell premium in a small town I might not
buy it.
Those farmers don't use it enough for it to be fresh.

You think a tank of regular gas will hurt your motor, what does your
manual say to use. Regular is all I burn in my 97. Usually the only
problem will be a little pinging going up steep hill. I pull into a
gas station and fill my bike with the cheap blend and see others with
same motor as mine filling with the expensive brew, all I can think
is what idiots. Using more expensive fuel than the owners manual
calls for is just wasting your money it does not, repeat does not
improve anything.
so many idiots and so little time.
