Just finished (well , yesterday) mounting some tires on the bike , and as
usual there was a gotcha . Last time it was the rear wheel bearings , this
time the rear brake pads . Ouch , them things done got spendy !! Last time
was OEM pads - say , it looks like I got 24k outta those - I'm surprised ,
seems like it was more recent but that's the entry in my log . Anyway , I
replaced 'emwith some SBS intered pads . They squeak ... Bearings were all
in great shape so I cleaned and repacked 'em and stuck new seals on top of
'em .
Shirley , ya still got some 'o that Walmart beer ? Put it in glasses ,
they'll never know the difference ...
