Seems to me there are at least a couple of Assholes(tm) who've
thru-hiked the Appalachian Trail.
One of my ToDo List items.
Pauline & I have hiked all of NJ, half of NY, some in NC/TN... and all
of Katahdin in Maine.

Might be nice scenery, but I'd at least take that ATV you've got......

Depends if you want to stay at the Canyon or not. SWMBO and myself
stayed in Williams before but that's quite a trek up to the Canyon.
Up at the Canyon you're at the mercy of the lodges :) and according to
SWMBO the one on the South Rim wasn't that great when she staid there in
summer.
