For about a year, I've researched air horns for my "99 Ultra to replace
that pathetic thing Harley provides. My pipes are loud enough but these
beauties may have saved my bacon last Sunday. I was keeping an eye on this
guy who had just got on I-95. (You all know that sixth sense we all have
after 30+ years on street bikes?) I just knew he didn't know I was there,
and, sure enough, here he starts coming over towards me. I laid on my new
horn and it sure got his attention. He gives me a nice wave of recognition
and goes right back to where he was supposed to be.
I was almost killed back in '69 by someone who "didn't know I was there" and
I believe in being both seen and heard.
I have no connection with this company outside of being very pleased with
their product and I want to give their page here. BTW, their directions are
well done.

There's a tendency for posts like this to appear to be spam, Gerry - so
don't be offended if some folks take a coupla potshots at you. No matter
what anyone sez, lights and noise save lives. Who ever first comes up
with a strobing air horn is going to have a winner. I'd buy one just to
play with in the garage.

Bill,
You may be right. I checked out the Stebel unit online and it does
look like what is under the cover on this horn assy. On an Ultra, you could
hang that bare unit in several places. I put a FIAMM horn under my
tour pack a couple years ago to work with the Harley horn. I rigged a relay
to run both horns from the handlebar switch. This air horn is nicer
though...

Yep, good company. They also make see and be seen lighting systems for
general aviation aircraft.
