Shouldn't that have a tailhook? ;-)
Used to deliver them when AY made 'em at CGF in the early 70s. Canopy seemed
like a good idea right up until you need to get in or out in precip.

Been there .. done that. Umbrella was always in the plane.

Yep, one of the golfing type umbrellas easily covers the entire open
canopy... In all the years that I've owned my plane though, I've probably
only had it rain enough on me enough to resort to the umbrellas maybe 2 or
3 times... Usually when a quick shower comes along at the destination
airport...
