Bars open, all paid for up front so have what ya like.
Few months back I posted about having to move to a Tri Glide due to
some health issues. That happened. A reported issue with the later
models with catalytic coverters is the heat felt by the rider. I can
testitfy that here in Texas with outside air already busting a 100 the
engine heat is pretty hard to take.
My solution is to get rid of the cats ( don't tell the EPA) and reduce
some heat. I'm down to basically two sets both 2-1-2.
The question revolves around the metal used to make the header. In
the ones I'm considering one is ceramic coated mild steel the other
stainless.
I know a lot of you guys have been down this road before and would
appreciate any info you might be willing to share.
Have another round or two and enjoy.
